Guess who? - Wallpaper

I had some hopes for a certain 50th Anniversary Special for a certain British sci-fi show that will likely never happen. Considering that, I did the next best thing: made a wallpaper to help realize some of those hopes.

Steve - Headshots [8-25-2012]

I was actually a little nervous to do these. It's always tough working for a friend and even tougher working with equipment you've never used before.

But with a little patience, improvisation and time, Steve came out with a selection of headshots he liked. Luckily, there was even a pair in there that I enjoyed myself!

It's always important to get several different looks when doing these so you can taylor what you send in to the job you want. Here are my two favorites.

Live Sound - Design/Wallpaper

Hey everyone! Sorry for the long absence, but I've been happily busy with work. Unfortunately, nothing that can be added to my portfolio... but I plan on fixing some of that. I want to make more time for design.

 To get me started, I found an awesome image online that inspired this little piece. It will be occupying my desktop as my background for a little while.

Olivia - Pre-Prom [6-21-2012]

It was a beautiful day in late June and a great opportunity to take some pre-prom photo's. And let me tell you, there's nothing like a room full of recent high school graduates looking forward to their first steps into the real world to make a guy like me feel old!

With an awesome subject, a great day and a little bit of creativity I can easily say that I was happy with the end product and eager to share with everyone.

But I don't want to bore you with too many details. Let's check out some of the results...

To Darth Vader... - Desktop Wallpaper

Soooo... I found a picture online of Freddie Mercury riding on Darth Vader's shoulders during a Queen concert. This provided a wee bit of inspiration for a wallpaper that a few people apparently liked. So I figured "Why not make it available for everyone?"

Speed Design!

I know, I know. What the hell is speed design?

One evening I was sitting at home, minding my own business, when I received a phone call from my younger brother. He sounded pretty distressed...

"Mario Manningham and Ahmad Bradshaw are signing autographs RIGHT NOW! I need something for them to sign! Can you make something really fast and print it on photo paper?" (For the uninitiated, these were two of the key players in the New York Giants most recent Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots. Go Blue!)

I do design for a news station. We ALWAYS need to make things in a hurry when news breaks. Yeah, I thought. I got this. How long do I have, though?

"I'm on my way right now. So about 5 minutes."

Well, I was pretty happy with the results. So I thought I would share them with you all.

Michelle - Bridal Shower [1-14-2012]

Last week I had the pleasure and privilege to photograph my cousin's bridal shower.

The scene was great with the lady of the hour being surprised upon her arrival. Surrounded by friends and family, she was treated to plenty of reminders that many of the people who have been there for her through her life will continue to do so as she ventures into marriage.

All in all, it was an awesome day that provided love, laughter, food, and many laughs. I'd like to offer my congratulations to Michelle and I hope you all enjoy the following select images from the day.
